שֹׁרֶשׁ הַתְּשׁוּבָה הוּא רֹאשׁ חֹדֶשׁ. עַל כֵּן בְּרֹאשׁ חֹדֶשׁ מִשְׁתַּלְשֶׁלֶת הַתְּשׁוּבָה בְּכָל הַנִּבְרָאִים וּמַגִּיעַ לָהֶם הִרְהוּר תְּשׁוּבָה. וַאֲפִלּוּ רְשָׁעִים שֶׁבַּגֵּיהִנֹּם מֻכְרָחִים לְאֵיזֶה חֲרָטָה בְּרֹאשׁ חֹדֶשׁ, שֶׁשָּׁבִין וּמִתְחָרְטִין וּמוֹדִים וּמִתְבַּיְּשִׁים:
