What the site provides

  • Each page declares its language and reading direction (English pages left to right, Hebrew pages and Hebrew passages right to left), so screen readers can identify them.
  • A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page, which appears when you press Tab.
  • The site can be used with a keyboard: links, buttons and fields show a visible focus outline, and the "More" menu opens and closes with the keyboard.
  • Pages are built with a main heading and subheadings, and the fields of the question form and the sign-up form have labels.
  • The layout adapts to phones, tablets and computers, and you can enlarge the text in your browser.
  • If you have turned on "Reduce motion" on your device, the site is shown without animations: every element appears immediately in its final state.
  • Every source text has a written reference and a link, not only a visual marker.

Known limitations

  • The site has not yet had a comprehensive accessibility review by an expert, so we do not claim conformance with any particular standard.
  • The concept map is a visual display and may be less convenient with a screen reader. The connections between topics can also be found in writing, on the topic pages.
  • The source texts are in Hebrew, and some are shown with the vowel marks and spelling of the original edition, so screen readers may read them inaccurately.
