שיחות הר״ן · אות כ״ה

בענין המחשבות שבמוח הוא פלא גדול וגדולת הבורא יתברך שמו - איך המחשבות מֻנחים במוח חבילות הרבה מאד אלו על אלו, וכשאדם צריך לאיזה דבר ונזכר בו, אזי מושך ומוציא אותו הדבר שהיה מֻנח במחשבה, ונזכר בו, והדבר פלא: היכן היה מונח אותו הענין עד עכשיו. ויש קשרים וסימנים במחשבות המונחים בהמוח חבילות חבילות הרבה. וכשנזכר באיזה דבר מחמת שנזדמן ענין המעורר אותה המחשבה על ידי הקשר והסימן שבה, אזי מוציא אותה המחשבה מתוך חבילי חבילות המחשבות המֻנחים ומסֻדרים במוח, ואזי כשמושך ומוציא אותה המחשבה, אזי מתהפכים ומתגלגלים כל המחשבות מסדרם שהיו מונחים. (כעין שרואין בדברים גשמיים, שכשמושכין ומוציאין דבר מתוך איזה קופה וחבילה אזי מתהפך ומתגלגל כל הקופה והחבילה):
