שיחות הר״ן · אות פ׳

[בני אדם מונעים לעבודת השם יותר מהיצר הרע] בני־אדם יש להם כח למנוע ולהסית את האדם לרחקו מעבודת הבורא ומצדיקי אמת יותר מן היצר־הרע, כי היצר־הרע אין לו יכולת רק כפי כחו, כפי בחינת היצר־הרע מאיזה העולם שהוא, אבל האדם הוא כלליות שכלול מכל העולמות; ועל כן מניעות של בני־אדם יותר ממניעות היצר־הרע:
